The Launch
The Charter was launched at a summit event at Sefton Palm House on 30 January 2006 by Elliot Morley MP with the backing of the Environment Agency, the Government Office for the Northwest, Liverpool City Council, Manchester Airport, the Northwest Regional Development Agency, the North West Regional Assembly, Pilkington, Renewables Northwest and Siemens.
