About the Charter

What is it?

The Northwest Climate Change Charter is a unique regional initiative designed to drive cuts in carbon emissions and challenge public and private sector organisations to tackle climate change. A growing number of Northwest organisations have already signed up and are publicly committed to taking action. It involves a series of commitments that all organisations in the Northwest region can work towards and that enables them to speak with a collective voice ranging from placing climate change at the heart of decision making, to taking practical steps to cut emissions and communicating achievements. To help the regionĀ fulfill its collective pledges, SNW will track progress and work with partners and other initiatives to maximise opportunities for advice and support for signitories.

What do we want you to do?
